French-made 75mm howitzers were included in Polish army since 1918. In the 20s Poland received additional guns under the military assistance agreement. With the outreach of over 11,000 meters combined with the significant rate of fire Schneider 75mm was perfect long-range support weapon, In 1937 guns were rearranged and equipped with metal-made wheels with tires, which improved mobility. During the September 1939 Polish Army fielded over 1350 75mm howitzers - those artillery teams played an important role in defence efforts.
